After Aleppo, Idlib also under opposition control in Syria
Syrian regime forces have left control of the Aleppo International Airport, from which they withdrew, to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. Two Syrian military sources stated that Russia has promised additional military aid to Damascus, which is expected to begin arriving within the next 72 hours.

The opposition announced that they have secured control of Maarat al-Numan, the largest district on the highway connecting the capital Damascus to Aleppo, as well as villages in the eastern countryside and the "Wadi al-Dhaif" camp, which was the largest regime camp in the province.
Opposition groups also stated that they have seized weapons and ammunition belonging to regime forces.
According to a report by the Reuters news agency citing two opposition sources, with the capture of Maarat al-Numan, the entirety of Idlib has come under opposition control.
AIR BASE CAPTURED
Armed groups opposed to the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria reported that they have taken control of the Abu al-Duhur Air Base in the eastern countryside of Idlib and are engaged in fierce clashes with regime forces in the northwest of the country.
It is reported that the Abu al-Duhur Air Base was a stronghold for Syrian regime forces and Iranian militias supporting President Bashar al-Assad.
