According to the Syrian regime's news agency SANA, Israel targeted a vehicle in the Mezze neighborhood with an airstrike at 17:05 local time.
The report stated, "2 civilians were killed and 3 civilians were injured in the attack. Material damage occurred in the area."
There has been no statement from Israeli authorities regarding the attack yet.
Since the civil war began in 2011, Israel has periodically carried out attacks in Syria against Iranian-backed groups and military sites belonging to the Syrian army.
