SERIOUS DAMAGE OCCURRED
According to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), a statement issued by the National Nuclear Safety Center announced that “serious damage occurred at a radiation facility in Isfahan as a result of US-Israeli attacks.”
It was stated that no radiation contamination was detected following the attack on the facility, which is known for its activities in the field of agriculture. It was also noted that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been informed about the incident.
While the attack took place at a time when tensions in the region are rising, it has raised concerns regarding why Iran was targeted and about potential radioactive hazards. Authorities emphasized that public safety is not under threat.
