An Amazon-owned Boeing 767 cargo plane veered off the runway during landing at Miami International Airport in the U.S. state of Florida.
According to information provided to local media by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials, the plane skidded off the runway while landing in Miami after taking off from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Initial images shared on social media showed the large cargo plane sitting sideways in the middle of a road outside the runway, with black smoke rising while its fuselage appeared largely intact.
No official statement has been made yet regarding the condition of the crew on board. It was reported that an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
