An Israeli soldier dies 'accidentally' in Gaza
In a statement released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was reported that an Israeli soldier was killed after being struck by a bullet accidentally fired by another Israeli soldier.

As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that an Israeli soldier has lost his life.
The statement noted that the soldier who died during clashes in the southern Gaza Strip this morning was 34-year-old Reserve Sergeant Ariel Lubliner, from the 636th logistics unit of the IDF's 36th Division, based in the city of Kiryat Bialik. According to the IDF's preliminary investigation, Lubliner was killed after being struck by a bullet accidentally fired by another Israeli soldier.
HE WAS EXPECTING HIS DUTY TO END
The Israeli press reported that Lubliner had taken part in many missions as a reservist and that his current duty in Israel's occupation of Gaza was expected to end tomorrow. Israeli sources stated that Lubliner had immigrated to Israel from Brazil about 10 years ago, married his wife who had immigrated to Israel from Spain, and had a 9-month-old son.
The Israeli press also noted that with Lubliner, the number of Israeli soldiers who have lost their lives since the October 7, 2023 attacks has reached 900.
