A new statement has been made regarding the process of the January 29 agreement reached between the Syrian government and the YPG. Ahmed al-Hilali, Spokesperson for the Presidential Committee responsible for the implementation of the agreement and Deputy Governor of Al-Hasakah, announced that the declaration regarding the dissolution of the YPG will be made "very soon."

Speaking to Syria TV, Hilali stated that they are working to address the difficulties encountered recently in various areas, including judicial files.

Hilali expressed that they have reached an advanced stage in the process of integrating the military, security, and civilian structures within the YPG into state institutions. Stating that significant progress has also been made in implementing measures on the ground, Hilali noted that the difficult phases of the process have been left behind.

A memorandum of understanding, which envisions a ceasefire and gradual integration, was reached between the Syrian administration and the YPG on January 29. Hilali's statement is being evaluated as an indication that a new phase may be entered regarding the implementation schedule of this agreement and the liquidation of organizational structures.
