Accordingly, the company's revenue in this period rose by 4 percent annually to 124.3 billion dollars. Apple had generated 119.6 billion dollars in revenue in the same period of the previous year.
The company's net profit also increased by 7 percent in the same period, reaching 36.3 billion dollars. The firm had announced a net profit of 33.9 billion dollars in the same period of the previous year.
Apple's earnings per share also rose from 2.18 dollars to 2.40 dollars during the period in question.
The company's revenue and net profit exceeded market expectations during this period.
DECLINE IN iPHONE SALES
While Apple's iPhone sales decreased during the period in question, increases were recorded in Mac and iPad sales.
The amount of iPhone sales declined by approximately 1 percent annually to 69.1 billion dollars in the three-month period ending December 28, 2024.
The company's iPhone sales failed to meet market expectations during this period.
In the same period, Mac sales increased by 16 percent to 8.9 billion dollars, and iPad sales rose by 15 percent to 8.1 billion dollars.
