Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed his reaction, stating that a seawater desalination plant on Qeshm Island in Hormozgan province was targeted during US and Israeli airstrikes against Iran.

In a post on his social media account, Araghchi stated, "The US committed a clear and desperate crime by attacking a seawater desalination plant on Qeshm Island. As a result of this attack, the water supply for 30 villages has been affected.

Attacking Iran's infrastructure is a dangerous step that could have serious consequences. It was not Iran, but the US that set this precedent," he said.
