Armed attack after football game in the US
In the US state of Mississippi, 4 people lost their lives and 12 others were injured, 4 of them critically, in an armed attack following a high school football game.

It was reported that the incident occurred in the city of Leland, approximately 190 kilometers northeast of the state capital, Jackson. Leland Mayor John Lee stated that the attack did not take place on the Leland High School campus and that 4 of the injured were transported to the hospital by helicopter, adding, "This is an event we have been organizing for years, and we have never experienced such an incident before. We are a city with a low crime rate where approximately 3,700 people live. Everyone knows each other. This event is a great tragedy for all of us."
