An armed attack took place during an ice hockey game in Pawtucket, located in the US state of Rhode Island.
According to initial reports, 1 person lost their life and 4 people were injured in the attack carried out at the Dennis M Lynch Arena ice rink.
While numerous police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene, the ice rink was evacuated.
The US press stated that the attacker was neutralized and noted that the attack occurred during an ice hockey game played between the boys' teams of two local schools.
