Armed attack on a party in Mexico: 12 youths killed
In the Mexican state of Guanajuato, 12 youths lost their lives and 12 people were injured in an armed attack on a party.

Youths attending a party at the San Jose del Carmen ranch in the town of Salvatierra, in Mexico's Guanajuato state, were targeted in an armed attack.
In the attack, 12 youths lost their lives, and 12 people were injured, some critically. Following the attack, police launched a large-scale investigation.
Salvatierra Mayor German Cervantes, in a statement condemning the attack, said, "I condemn with hatred the violence that occurred this morning. The prosecutor's office and security forces are doing what is necessary in full coordination."
In Guanajuato, one of the states with the highest number of murders and attacks in Mexico, 3 thousand 29 people have been killed this year.
