Armed attack on US Consulate in Canada

An armed attack was carried out in the morning hours on the US Consulate located in the city of Toronto, in the Canadian province of Ontario.

While a large number of police were dispatched to the scene following the attack, there were no deaths or injuries in the incident.

Toronto police stated that evidence of gunfire was found at the scene and reported that efforts have been initiated to identify and apprehend the attacker.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford condemned the armed attack and said that "whatever is necessary" will be done to prosecute and punish those responsible.
