Armenia and the US to hold joint military exercise

Armenia and the US will conduct a joint military exercise in Armenia from August 12 to 20, as part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions.

Armenia and the US will conduct a joint military exercise. In a statement issued by the Press Service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, it was announced that the joint military exercise, titled "EAGLE PARTNER-2025," will be held in Armenia between August 12 and 20 as part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions.

The statement noted that the exercise will involve personnel from the Armenian Armed Forces' peacekeeping brigade, the US Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard, and stated that the military exercise, which focuses on preparation for and execution of peacekeeping duties, will specifically concentrate on medical evacuation procedures.

The statement further explained that the general objective of the exercise is to increase the level of interoperability between units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations, to ensure the sharing of best practices in command and tactical communication, and to raise the readiness level of the Armenian Armed Forces' peacekeeping unit.
