According to the official Lebanese news agency NNA, the Israeli army's attacks on the Dahiyeh district continued into the morning hours. The Hadath area in the south of the capital was targeted in the strikes.

Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee had issued an attack threat for certain buildings and their surroundings in the Hadath and Haret Hreik areas in a post on his X account.

Following this warning from Adraee, who claimed that Hezbollah facilities were located in these areas and stated that the Israeli army would carry out attacks on these points in the "near future," it was reported that warning shots were fired into the air to alert people in the area and accelerate evacuations.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched intense airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

On September 30, the Israeli army also announced that it had begun "limited and intense" ground attacks in southern Lebanon "targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure."

According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 3,583 people have been killed, including 905 women and children and 214 healthcare workers, and 15,244 people have been injured in Israeli attacks since October 8, 2023.
