Azerbaijan's harsh reaction to the US over 'Armenia' and 'Palestine': That decision condemned

At the National Assembly of Azerbaijan's Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, a declaration was adopted condemning the "Armenian Protection Act of 2023" passed by the US Senate. 

In the declaration, which stated that the US Senate's decision is "Unacceptable," the phrase "We strongly condemn the US Senate's decision that openly targets Azerbaijan." was included.

"POSES AN OBSTACLE TO PEACE AND STABILITY"

The declaration, which noted that the biased statements of US officials in recent times have harmed the strategic relations between the two countries, assessed that "This decision by the US Senate and the baseless criticisms directed at Azerbaijan pose a serious obstacle to efforts for peace and stability in our region."

"A CLEAR EXAMPLE OF DOUBLE STANDARDS"

Pointing out that the Senate's decision was prepared by anti-Islamic senators, the declaration emphasized that the decision is a clear example of double standards.

In the declaration, where the anti-Azerbaijani discussions in the US Congress were described as an "absurd theatrical play" and "a new indicator of hypocritical US policy," it was noted that the US has ignored all crimes committed against Azerbaijanis, including the Khojaly Massacre.

The declaration used the following expressions: "It is a known fact that the US supported the coup in Turkey and tried to create its own puppet regime by protecting FETÖ and similar terrorist organizations that played a key role in the coup attempt. The US is the primary party responsible for the flare-up of the Israel-Palestine conflict today."
