A US Air Force B-52 bomber crashed shortly after taking off from Edwards Air Force Base at 11:20 local time.
In a statement released by Edwards Air Force Base, it was stated that "Emergency response teams immediately responded to the scene and the situation is ongoing." While no information was provided regarding the number of casualties or injuries in the crash, the cause of the incident is not yet known.
