A baby was born in India with 4 arms, 4 legs, and 2 faces.

The baby's mother, 38-year-old Rama Devi, was taken to a rural hospital after she began experiencing labor pains.

As reported by T24, hospital staff stated that the child was born conjoined with another underdeveloped body.

It was noted that the child's underdeveloped legs and arms were protruding from its chest.

The child passed away 5 hours after birth.

While it was stated that the family has other healthy children, it was understood that despite the birth occurring without issues and no complications arising, the mother had almost no prenatal screenings during her pregnancy.

Worldwide, two out of every 1 million children are born with diprosopus, a rare type of conjoined twinning where all or part of the face is duplicated. In these cases, it is noted that the faces and brains are connected by only one brain stem.
