Behind the scenes of the Taylor Swift cancellation: Three youths, two of Turkish descent, detained

The concerts that American pop star Taylor Swift was expected to perform in Vienna, the capital of Austria, have been canceled following the detention of 2 individuals over "attack" concerns.

Police in Vienna have detained 3 people who were allegedly "planning an attack" on certain events, including Swift's concerts.

In a statement made on the social media account of the concert organizer, Barracuda Music, it was stated, "We have no choice but to cancel the 3 planned concerts for everyone's safety."

TWO OF THOSE DETAINED ARE OF TURKISH DESCENT

The statement noted that concert tickets would be refunded within 10 business days.

According to allegations, two of the individuals detained are of Turkish descent. Another one of those detained is 19 years old and of North Macedonian descent.

It is stated that one of the other two juvenile suspects is a 17-year-old Austrian citizen of Turkish-Croatian descent, and the other is a 15-year-old Austrian citizen of Turkish descent.
