Biden answered journalists' questions regarding civilian casualties in Gaza, which is under Israeli siege, during a press conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The US President said, "I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I'm sure innocents have been killed."

Using the phrase "That's the price of waging a war" regarding civilian casualties in Gaza, Biden called on Israel to be careful against propaganda, stating, "I have no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using."

''HAMAS IS HIDING BEHIND CIVILIANS''

US President Biden also said, ''Hamas is hiding behind civilians. It does not diminish the need to operate in accordance with the laws of war. Even though it is difficult to protect innocent civilians, Israel must also do everything in its power."

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza had announced that 6,546 people, including 2,704 children, 1,584 women, and 364 elderly people, had been killed and 17,439 people had been injured in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
