Following Iran's missile attack on Israel yesterday, the US has taken action. US President Joe Biden discussed new sanctions against Iran with G7 leaders following the missile attack on Israel.

In a statement released by the White House, it was stated, “Biden and the G7 leaders unequivocally condemned Iran's attack on Israel.

President Biden expressed the United States' solidarity with and full support for Israel and its people. He reaffirmed the United States' unwavering commitment to Israel's security.”

ATTACK ON NUCLEAR FACILITIES NOT SUPPORTED

Biden also made statements to reporters. When asked whether he would support an attack by Israel on Iran's nuclear program, Biden said, “The answer is no.”

Stating that Israel has the right to respond to yesterday's Iranian attack but should do so in a proportionate manner, Biden noted that the US would impose new sanctions on Iran due to the attack.
