Joe Biden stated in his Ramadan message that they are 'aware of the suffering' and that they 'will work for a ceasefire that will last at least six weeks.'

In his statement, Biden said, "The war in Gaza has caused terrible suffering to the Palestinian people. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed, most of them civilians, including thousands of children."

Stating that more than 2 million Palestinians have been displaced, Biden emphasized that these people are currently in urgent need of food, clean water, medicine, and shelter.

The US President, stating that the plan to build a temporary port on the Gaza coast is about to be implemented, expressed that they will do their best to deliver all kinds of aid to Gaza by air, land, and sea.

Biden said, "As the United States, we will work tirelessly to secure an immediate and sustained ceasefire for at least six weeks as part of a hostage release deal." Biden also noted that a two-state solution is needed for a lasting resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

US President Biden also assessed, "There is absolutely no place for Islamophobia in the United States; this country was founded on freedom of belief and built on the contributions of all immigrants, including Muslim immigrants."
