US President Biden answered a question regarding the Israel-Palestine issue at a meeting he attended in the state of Maryland.
In response to the question, "Do you think Israel should reduce the intensity of the war by the new year?", Biden replied, "I want them to be focused on how to save civilian lives. They should continue to go after Hamas, but be more careful (regarding civilians)."
In his statement the previous day, US President Biden had also said that Israel was beginning to lose the world's support due to its "indiscriminate bombing" in Gaza, and that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu needed to change his government for a long-term solution.
