U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, has been found guilty by a jury on all charges in the case where he was accused of purchasing a firearm while under the influence of drugs.

A jury has reached its verdict in the case of U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, who was accused of purchasing a firearm while under the influence of drugs.
After three hours of deliberation, the jury found Hunter Biden guilty on all counts, including lying to a federally licensed firearms dealer, making false statements while purchasing a weapon, and illegally possessing a firearm for 11 days.
The U.S. District Court in Delaware adjourned the hearing for one day after the jury found Hunter Biden guilty on all three counts. Shortly after the verdict was read, First Lady Jill Biden arrived at the courthouse.
Following the jury's decision, this marks the first time a family member of a sitting president has been found guilty. The crimes committed by Hunter Biden date back to before President Biden took office. Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and fines of up to 750 thousand dollars, though as a first-time offender, he is likely to receive a much lighter sentence.
The judge stated that the sentencing for Hunter Biden would be determined within 120 days of the jury's verdict, meaning it will be delivered in mid-October, before the presidential election in November.

On the other hand, Hunter Biden's struggle with drug and alcohol addiction began after his brother, Beau Biden, passed away from brain cancer in 2015.
