Blinken discusses genocide case with South African Minister
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a phone call with South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor, who will represent her country at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) session where the court is set to announce its ruling on the request for provisional measures in the genocide case filed against Israel, to discuss the situation in Gaza.

According to a written statement from the U.S. Department of State, Antony Blinken and South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor held a phone conversation.
During the call, the situation in Gaza, including the protection of civilians, the continuation of humanitarian aid flow, and efforts toward lasting peace, as well as bilateral relations, were discussed.
No details were shared regarding today's session at the ICJ.
