A bomb planted inside a motorized tuk-tuk taxi that approached a military checkpoint in the ash-Shula district of Baghdad has exploded. It was reported that 2 people lost their lives in the explosion and there were others injured.
According to reports in local Iraqi media, it is alleged that 2 security personnel on duty at the checkpoint lost their lives as a result of the explosion.
