Authorities stated that 6 bodies were found inside the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School building. It was reported that 2 more people were found dead in a house considered to be linked to the incident. Additionally, it was stated that one person who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries died on the way.
It was noted that some of the 25 people injured in the attack remain in critical condition.
