Ayatollah Eshkevari, who has been closely following the process, stated, "The new supreme leader is Ali Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei." Similarly, Assembly of Experts member Ayatollah Eshkuri also emphasized that the leadership would continue with the Khamenei surname, stating, "The name of Ayatollah Khamenei will continue as the leader of Iran."
