Breaking News... New agreement reached between Damascus and YPG

“Agreement Text Between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian Government;

A ceasefire has been reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian government in accordance with a comprehensive agreement; an agreement has also been reached on a gradual integration process for the military and administrative forces between the two sides.

The agreement covers the withdrawal of military forces from contact lines, the entry of security forces affiliated with the Ministry of Interior into the city centers of Hasakah and Qamishli, the initiation of an integration process for security forces in the region, the formation of a military division including three brigades from the Syrian Democratic Forces, and in addition, the establishment of a brigade for Kobani forces within a division affiliated with the Aleppo province.

The agreement also includes the integration of Autonomous Administration institutions into Syrian state institutions, while preserving the positions of civil servants. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached on regulating the civil and educational rights of the Kurdish people and guaranteeing the return of displaced persons to their regions.

The agreement aims to unify Syrian territory and realize a full integration process in the region by strengthening cooperation between the relevant parties and combining efforts to rebuild the country.”
