Ceasefire march for Gaza in Paris
In the French capital of Paris, people took to the streets despite heavy rain to demand a ceasefire in Gaza.

In Paris, despite poor weather conditions and heavy rain, pro-Palestine Parisians gathered at the Place de la République and marched to the Place de la Nation, demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
THEY MARCHED WITH SLOGANS
Demonstrators, carrying Palestinian flags and umbrellas, chanted slogans such as "Israel is a murderer, Macron is an accomplice" and "Long live the struggle of the Palestinian people." As they passed in front of a branch of an international supermarket chain, the protesters booed, accusing the company of supporting Israel. Employees of another branch of the same chain along the route stood guard in front of the store entrance as the demonstrators passed by.
Protesters also passed by a fast-food chain branch, where they protested against the chain with slogans, alleging that it supports the Tel Aviv administration. The demonstrators, who want peace to be established in the region as soon as possible, criticized the French government's stance regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza.
HEALTHCARE WORKERS ALSO JOINED THE PROTEST
Healthcare workers who joined the protest in their white coats reacted to the loss of their colleagues' lives in Gaza. In the demonstration, which was also attended by families, a small child carrying a sign that read "Peace for Children" drew attention. The demonstrators also carried posters featuring pictures of Gazans who lost their lives under the Israeli army's bombardments. Salah Bendamar, a protester who carried a shopping bag with a sign reading "boycott" throughout the demonstration, told an AA reporter that what is happening in Gaza is a "genocide."
Pointing to the importance of boycotts during this process, Bendamar said, "Boycott is my only weapon."
Retired protester Nadia Deba carried a banner that read, "Santa, I Only Want One Thing From You This Year: Peace," and stated, "I wanted to come to the demonstration with this banner today. Because my children lived happily, and I want it to be the same for all children." Deba stated that leaving Gazan children disabled is incompatible with humanity.
