China calls on countries to 'never kneel' against US trade war
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a propaganda video calling on other countries to resist alongside China against the trade war initiated by the US through increased customs tariffs.

In the video titled "Never Kneel," published in English on the ministry's WeChat account, it is stated that the US has launched a global "tariff storm" and is deliberately targeting China, while attempting to restrict trade with China while playing a "90-day delay game" with other countries.
The video, which argues that this attitude from Washington is a "trap," states: "Submitting to a bully is like drinking poison to quench one's thirst. It will only deepen the crisis."
The video recalls that in the 1980s, the US accused Japan of lowering the prices of semiconductors and imposed sanctions on Japanese companies such as Toshiba, noting that it forced the Tokyo administration to sign the 1985 Plaza Accord, which predicted the depreciation of the US dollar against the Japanese yen, thereby dragging the Japanese economy into decades of stagnation.
The video states that the US used its jurisdiction extraterritorially to break up French industrial giant Alstom, depriving the country of a national success story, and argues that history has proven that making concessions to the US yields no results, and that kneeling only encourages more bullying.
The video states that China will not kneel against this pressure, that standing tall will keep more opportunities for cooperation alive, and that kneeling would destroy this possibility.
"ALL BULLIES ARE PAPER TIGERS"
Emphasizing that the US does not represent the entire world and that its total trade accounts for less than 20 percent of global trade, the video includes the following statements: "All bullies are paper tigers. If the rest of the world stands in solidarity, the US will remain like a small ship run aground."
The video states that imperialists are always arrogant and only act reasonably when forced, adding: "Make no mistake, the US will continue to act threateningly while turning around on the other hand. However, China will stand firm against this. No matter how hard the wind blows, no matter how thick the clouds, no matter how dark the night, the star will continue to shine."
The video, in which China calls on other countries to stand up and fight, concludes with these words:
"China will not back down so that the voices of the weak in the world can be heard, bullying can be ended, and justice will not be erased from the earth. Someone needs to take the torch and step forward to clear the fog and light the way. If all countries stand tall, the world will tear down the walls of hegemony."
