The Syrian source stated that facility officials have instructed airlines operating in Syria not to allow flights into the country by Israelis and Iranians.
No official statement has been made by the new administration in Syria regarding the claims; however, Syrian officials stated that "citizens of all countries except Israel may enter the country." Regarding Iranians, officials noted that they "will only be able to enter the country with prior authorization."
