Clarity emerges on how Hamas will be governed after Sinwar
It has been claimed that Hamas, which is reportedly not planning to appoint a new leader to replace Yahya Sinwar following his killing by Israel, will be governed by a Qatar-based committee until elections scheduled for March.

As the repercussions of the killing of Hamas's latest Political Bureau Chief Yahya Sinwar by Israel continue, a critical development regarding the group's future has emerged.
According to information obtained from Hamas sources, it is claimed that the group will not appoint a new leader to replace Yahya Sinwar, but will instead be governed by an administrative committee based in the Qatari capital, Doha, until elections planned for March.
It was stated that the committee, which was established following the assassination of former Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, will temporarily take over the leadership of the group.
THE COMMITTEE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE STRATEGIC DECISIONS
It has been learned that the committee, whose mandate is to "manage the group's plans during war and exceptional circumstances and in the future" and to "make strategic decisions," consists of Gaza Representative Khalil al-Hayya, West Bank Representative Zaher Jabarin, Representative for Palestinians Abroad Khaled Mashal, Shura Advisory Council Chairman Mohammed Darwish, and a political bureau secretary whose name is not disclosed for security reasons.
While it was noted that all members of the committee are in Qatar, it was also stated that the option of appointing a representative leader whose name would not be disclosed to the public, while still managing Hamas through the administrative committee, remains on the table.
