A clash broke out between two groups in the Pakistani city of Karachi ahead of the Arbaeen procession. As the groups opened fire on each other, 2 people lost their lives, 12 people were injured, and numerous vehicles were set on fire.
Following the clash in the Lasbela area, a large number of police teams were dispatched to the scene. Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho stated that the situation in the city has been brought under control.
