Clear warning from Iran to the US and Israel: We will respond directly to any potential attack

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei shared important messages regarding his country's security in an interview with the Lebanon-based Al-Masirah television. Baghaei stated that the response to any military intervention against Iran would be "definitive and direct." Expressing that the Iranian armed forces are ready for any scenario, Baghaei also voiced his confidence in the country's military capacity.

Stating that "our armed forces are ready for any scenario," Baghaei noted that Iran will continue to maintain a resolute stance against external threats. The spokesperson also emphasized his belief that the Iranian people would defend the country with all their means in the event of a potential threat.

Touching upon the importance of diplomacy, Baghaei underscored that the Iranian Armed Forces support the ongoing diplomatic process. In response to a question regarding the memorandum of understanding with the US, he replied, "Our position has been clear from the very beginning; our principle is commitment for commitment." Thus, the Tehran administration has once again highlighted that they will remain committed to agreements as long as reciprocal steps are taken.
