A new addition has been made to the ongoing pro-Gaza protests at universities in the USA. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who attended the graduation ceremony of Duke University, located in the US state of North Carolina, as a guest speaker, was protested on the grounds that he supports Israel.
THEY UNFURLED A PALESTINIAN FLAG
Some students chanted "Free Palestine" during the speech of the American comedian Seinfeld and left the ceremony area. Some students unfurled a Palestinian flag as they left the ceremony area.
While some people in the stands at the football field where the ceremony was held also left the event, some participants cheered in support of Seinfeld. Seinfeld completed his speech despite the protest.
