The Palestine Telecommunications Company, Jawwal, issued a statement saying, "We regret to announce that all communication and internet services in the Gaza Strip have been completely cut off."
According to the report by AA, the statement indicated that communication in the Gaza Strip was completely severed due to the re-severing of main lines that had previously experienced disruptions.
In its first statement earlier today, Jawwal had announced that communication services in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip had completely stopped due to damage to key components of the communication network as a result of Israel's ongoing bombardment.
Internet and communication services had been completely cut off three other times in the blockaded Gaza Strip, where the Israeli army has launched comprehensive attacks since October 7.
Palestinian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Ishaq Sadr had called on Egypt to activate communication stations and roaming services near the Gaza Strip.
