Date set for White House meeting between US President Biden and Trump
It has been reported that US President Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who was elected as the 47th President of the US, will meet at the White House on November 13.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated in a press release, "At the invitation of President Biden, President Biden and President-elect Trump will meet in the Oval Office on Wednesday, November 13, at 11:00 a.m."
Spokesperson Jean-Pierre noted that further details regarding the meeting would be announced in the coming days.
Such meetings between the outgoing president and the incoming president are traditionally held in the US. This partly marks the beginning of the peaceful transfer of power in American democracy.
However, after the 2020 elections, which he lost, Trump did not hold such a meeting with Biden, who had won the election at that time.
