Death toll confirmed in Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crash
Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev has announced the number of people who died in the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane.

A passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, which took off from Baku and was headed to Grozny, has crashed in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan Airlines spokesperson Ferid Hüseynov stated that there were 67 people on board in total, consisting of a 5-person crew and 62 passengers.
38 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Hüseynov noted that 37 of the passengers were citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 were from Russia, 6 from Kazakhstan, and 3 from Kyrgyzstan.
