Death toll in Iran port explosion rises to 65
The death toll from the explosion that occurred on Saturday at the Shahid Rajaee Port in Iran has risen to 65.

The death toll from the explosion that occurred last Saturday at the Shahid Rajaee Port in the city of Bandar Abbas, in Iran's Hormozgan province, has increased.
Hormozgan Governor Mohammad Ashouri stated in a press release that the number of people who lost their lives in the explosion has risen from 46 to 65.
Stating that the fire that broke out at the port following the explosion has been completely extinguished, Ashouri said, "Search and rescue operations are continuing after the fire was brought under control.
The containers need to be moved, and the completion of this process may take up to two weeks. Our priority is to find those who lost their lives."
One thousand 210 people were also injured in the explosion. While 138 of the injured continue to receive treatment in the hospital, the cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
