Diplomatic contacts by Hakan Fidan in Germany
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock as part of the 60th Munich Security Conference. The meeting addressed Gaza and bilateral economic relations.

According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Hakan Fidan, who is in Munich for the conference, met with Baerbock there.
Fidan emphasized to his counterpart that action must be taken to immediately stop the ongoing massacre in Gaza. Fidan underscored that the continuation of Israel's massacres could lead to social reactions in the region.
During the meeting, both sides agreed that more effort must be made to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, while bilateral economic relations were also discussed.
In the meeting, where relations within the NATO framework were also on the table, Fidan emphasized that importance is attached to cooperation with Germany in the field of energy.
While the Turkey-Germany bilateral trade volume was approximately 50 billion dollars last year, the parties aim to increase this figure to 60 billion dollars.
