In a statement from the prosecutor's office, it was stated that the 40-year-old doctor is suspected of killing 8 people according to initial findings and that the investigation is being expanded and continued.
The statement noted that the doctor was being held in custody on charges of killing 4 patients between June 11 and July 24, and that as a result of the ongoing investigation, this number has risen to 8.
It was stated that graves have been opened to clarify the other 4 cases being evaluated as suspicious.
