U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced that if he wins the presidential election on November 5, he would consider appointing billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk as a cabinet member or advisor.

Former United States (U.S.) President and Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke to members of the press following his campaign activities in Pennsylvania.
Trump stated that he would consider appointing Elon Musk to a position in his cabinet or offering him an advisory role, should he accept.
Last week, Elon Musk held a live broadcast with Donald Trump on the social media platform X and said that "for the good of the country, Trump needs to win the election."
During the broadcast, Musk proposed to Trump that a presidential commission be established regarding the efficient operation of the government and that he be appointed to head this commission. Trump responded to this proposal by saying, "I would love to do that."
Elon Musk supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections and Joe Biden in the 2020 elections.
