A US base in Iraq has been targeted by an armed drone (UAV).
In a statement issued by the Counter-Terrorism Service of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in northern Iraq, it was reported that a drone attack was carried out against a base belonging to the US-led anti-ISIS coalition forces located at Erbil International Airport in the city of Erbil.
The statement noted that the attack took place at 16:30 local time, and no information was provided regarding casualties or damage.
