Geert Wilders, the far-right leader in the Netherlands, shared an Atatürk-themed message regarding the crisis that occurred during the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray match.

Following the Atatürk crisis in Saudi Arabia, the Super Cup match between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray was canceled. After Saudi Arabian authorities did not allow Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray to take the field with banners featuring Atatürk's quotes "Peace at Home, Peace in the World" and "How happy is the one who says I am a Turk," the executives of both clubs decided not to play the match.
Geert Wilders, the leader of the racist and anti-Islamic Party for Freedom (PVV), which emerged as the clear winner in the early general elections in the Netherlands on November 22, shared a notable message about the match on his social media account.
Wilders wrote, "Atatürk - Saudi Arabia: 10-0."

Wilders, who won 37 seats with 23.5 percent of the vote in the early general elections, had announced that he wanted to form a right-wing coalition including the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) led by Dilan Yeşilgöz, which came in third with 24 seats; the New Social Contract (NSC) party led by Pieter Omtzigt, which placed fourth with 20 seats; and the Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB) led by Caroline van der Plas, which took sixth place with 7 seats.
