Early voting for US Congressional midterm elections begins in Virginia

As the countdown continues for the US Congressional midterm elections to be held on November 3, 2026, the early voting process has begun in some states. As part of the election calendar, voters in Virginia have started heading to the polls.

The economy stands out as the primary agenda item for voters. According to a poll conducted by Marquette Law School between September 2-9, 37 percent of participants identified inflation and the cost of living, 16 percent identified the economy, and 10 percent identified the war in Iran as the most important issue.

While the rise in fuel prices also draws attention among economic topics, it is assessed that the impact of foreign policy and the war agenda on the election atmosphere continues.
