Elon Musk bought a mansion to live with his 11 children and their mothers

Citing 4 people familiar with Musk's initiatives, the NYT report alleged that the American billionaire is trying to "create an unconventional family compound."

The 4 unnamed individuals noted that Musk took this step so that his 11 children from 3 mothers could be part of each other's lives.

According to official state records, Musk owns a mansion of approximately 1338 square meters in Texas, as well as a villa near the mansion. The total value of these properties is stated to be 35 million dollars.

While it was noted that Shivon Zilis, the mother of 3 of Musk's children, has moved into the mansion with her children, it was reported that musician Claire Boucher, known as "Grimes," the mother of 3 other children, has disputes with Musk regarding the custody of the children and therefore has not moved into the mansion.

It was also stated that Justine Musk, the mother of the billionaire's remaining 5 children, has not yet moved into the mansion, and it is expressed that one of the children, Vivian Jenna Wilson, does not have a good relationship with her father.

The report also alleged that Musk is trying to "keep developments regarding his family secret" and that this desire stems from "existential anxieties that lie at the foundation of his business empire."

It was claimed that the American billionaire founded his company Tesla to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and his company SpaceX with the goal of colonizing Mars in case the world becomes uninhabitable, and it was noted that Musk has long been drawing attention on X to the declining number of children in some countries.

The report, which included Musk's posts such as "Having children should be considered a national emergency" and "Population collapse is the 2nd biggest danger to civilization after artificial intelligence," argued that the American billionaire is "obsessed" with declining birth rates.

The 4 unnamed individuals also stated that Musk initially planned to build a mansion on land in Texas that was owned by his company Tesla and himself, but it was alleged that the American billionaire abandoned this plan after the US Department of Justice investigated "whether Tesla's resources were being used to secretly build a mansion for Musk." Posting about the subject on X in 2023, Musk had stated, "I am not building a house of any kind, let alone a mansion!"

Musk has 10 children: Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon, and Damian from his first wife Justine Musk; X, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus from his girlfriend Claire Boucher; and Strider and Azure from his other girlfriend Shivon Zilis. While Musk confirmed that his 11th child was born at the beginning of the year, the name or gender of this child is unknown.
