Reports in the US media stated that two people lost their lives and one person was injured as a result of a Delta Air Lines airplane tire exploding during a tire change.
The reports, which noted that the tire in question exploded while being removed from the aircraft, stated that the plane had arrived in Atlanta from Las Vegas last Sunday.
