A vehicle explosion occurred near the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the explosion in Bishkek was "not a terrorist attack."
Speaking to the Kyrgyz news agency AKIpress, Tilek Otorov, Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said that the moving vehicle caught fire due to a short circuit and that the explosion occurred because the rising flames reached the LPG tank.
Otorov stated, "According to the driver, the vehicle had a gas system. Smoke appeared while driving, and the driver managed to get out of the car."
The vehicle explosion caused by the LPG system occurred on Tynystanov Street, where the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek is located.
