Greene's body, found in his apartment in New York's Lower East Side, was discovered unresponsive by police around 3:25 PM. Authorities issued a statement regarding the actor's death, noting that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Peter Greene had achieved a major breakthrough with his role as Zed in the film Pulp Fiction. In Tarantino's 1994 masterpiece, the character of Zed, portrayed by Greene, created one of the film's most unforgettable moments.
KNOWN FOR HIS FAMOUS ROLES
Greene portrayed many iconic characters throughout his career. He had also drawn attention with his roles as the villain Dorian Tyrell in The Mask and the schizophrenic Peter Winter in the film Clean, Shaven. Furthermore, his role as Redfoot in The Usual Suspects is considered one of his most memorable performances.
