Footage has emerged showing famous US singer Sean Combs, known by the nicknames Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016.

In the footage obtained by CNN, Combs, seen wearing only a towel around his waist, is captured chasing Cassie down a hallway at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

After catching his girlfriend as she tried to enter an elevator, Combs throws her to the ground and then kicks her while the young woman lies motionless.

The singer is seen kicking the young woman repeatedly before grabbing her by her hoodie and dragging her toward their room.

HE OFFERED 50 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE FOOTAGE!

It is also stated that Combs offered to pay the hotel 50 thousand dollars for the footage.

THEY POSED ON THE RED CARPET 2 DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT

CNN also recalled that two days after the footage was recorded, Combs and Cassie posed hand-in-hand on the red carpet for the premiere of the film The Perfect Match.

Cassie's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, said in a statement to DailyMail.com today, "The heartbreaking video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."

Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs last year, alleging rape and a series of other crimes.

They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement at the time, Cassie said, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."

HIS ATTORNEY: "WE DENY THE ALLEGATIONS"

Diddy's attorney said in a statement at the time that settling the case was in no way an admission of guilt.

His attorney, Ben Brafman, said, "Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations."

THEY WERE TOGETHER FOR 11 YEARS

Over the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura's persistent 30 million dollar demand under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, and this demand was flatly rejected as a clear shakedown.

Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies aimed at damaging Mr. Combs' reputation and seeking a payday.

The couple met in 2006 when Cassie was 19 and Combs was 37, and were together from 2007 to 2018.
